Privacy Policy

Dolfer is made by Agentizer, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what we do — and mostly don't — collect when you use the Dolfer app and the dolfer.app website.

1. What stays on your device (we never receive it)

Your rules, your activity history, your settings, your trash, and of course your files all live only on your computer. We have no access to any of it.

2. What we receive — and only for these reasons

• Licensing. When you start a trial or activate a license, the app sends a hashed device identifier (a “machine ID”). It's derived from your hardware and hashed on your device, so it can't be reversed into anything about you or your files. We use it only to issue and verify your trial/license.
• Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We receive your email address and license details so we can send your license key and provide support.
• Email. We use Resend to deliver your license email and support replies.
• Security. Our servers keep short-lived logs (including IP address) to prevent abuse and rate-limit requests. They aren't used to track or profile you.
• Website analytics. Our website (dolfer.app) uses Google Analytics to understand usage — which pages are viewed, downloads, and general device/region. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data on Google's servers (see Google's Privacy Policy). We use it for aggregate measurement only — not to identify you, and never for advertising.
• Product usage (optional, off by default). If a version of the app includes usage telemetry, it is opt-in, anonymous, and never includes anything about your files.

3. Cookies and tracking

We don't collect your files or their contents, we don't run advertising networks, and we don't sell, rent, or trade your data. The only cookies our website sets are Google Analytics cookies, used to measure website usage (see above) — never for advertising. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before they load, and you can decline or clear them in your browser at any time.

4. Service providers we rely on

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email (your license + support).
• Our hosting provider — serving the website and the license API.
• Google Analytics — website usage measurement.

5. Data retention

We keep your purchase email and license records for as long as needed to support your license and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Machine IDs are kept while a trial or license is active.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the limited data we hold about you — your email, your license, and your machine ID. Email us and we'll help.

7. Children

Dolfer isn't directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA), and we don't knowingly collect their data.

We'll update this page and the “Last updated” date when this policy changes.
